Good bye 2020! I would like to say it was nice but in general it kind of stunk...big time. In general, it was a tougher year than most for me personally but only because it involved one of my children. The whole COVID stuff is just garbage created by a country that is trying to take over and kill what the USA is all about. They did a good job in making sure it screwed up things for every single person on the universe. However, it has not broken our spirits and as long as we can stay strong and work through the COVID disaster we will all be stronger for it. Is it unfortunate that so many had to die needlessly? Absolutely! Only a cowardest country would hurt so many. Stay strong people! Together we can get through this. When the vaccine is available to me I will take it! At least we know that the stupid country the started it all is not involved with the vaccine. There were some good things that came out of 2020 and some bad things. So, here we go!
Bad - loss of jobs, income, our way of life, essential workers. No vacations, weddings, funerals, sporting events, festivals, entertainment or attending church. MASKS!!! Lonliness and/or domestic violence. Demonstrations and riots and ruining good people for what? Nothing! Nothing has come out of it except hurting others you don't even know. Why? What did you prove? What has happened since...nothing!
Good - more time with family and a chance to slow down. Organizing anything and everything! Being an essential worker - an income! I am blessed to live in a state where the Governor knows how to keep a state thriving. We are open and we are no worse then when we were closed. This is all in God's hands. He has a plan for us.
With that said I am glad to bid 2020 a farewell and welcome 2021 with a lot of hope and happiness! I know just going into 2021 will not cure COVID but I believe we are headed in the right direction to end this pandemic and get back to a real life where we can live free again. Let's all give it all to the Lord. Try it, you might just like it!
