Maybe I Need A New Title
I never realized that once I started working how much time it takes up. When I was writing my other blogs, I was retired and was able to keep up with them daily but now I can’t seem to even write this one once a month. I am going to try and do better and at least post once a week. With that said here we go! This past week end, President’s Week end, I did some hiking with some friends at Payne’s Prairie Preserve. It is a prairie in Gainesville, Florida. Now most people would not believe that there is such a thing but it is an actual prairie with Bison, wild horses and alligators too. We covered a lot of the prairie hiking over 8 miles through out sections of the prairie. We did see alligators, even up close. We saw the bison and horses but from a far. It was the perfect weather day to be hiking; no humidity, low 70’s and sunny. We even visit Micanopy, a small town near Payne’s Prairie. If you ever saw the movie “Doc Hollywood” it was filmed in this town. Check out some of the pictures on of the prairie! I had a great day, thanks Robin, Debbie and Tony for letting me tag along.
