Trying Something New
Instead of using regular pasta noodles with my spaghetti sauce I tried something new and very low in calories. It was spaghetti but came from a plant. It is a Japanese invention from the Konjac plant. The root is used to create noodles and all sorts of other items. The noodles are full of fiber and absorbs water. I used the spaghetti noodles but you don’t boil them. First you squeeze all the water out of the packages and then you rinse the noodles for a few minutes. You then stir fry them for about a minute and a half. Pour them in a bowl and top with your favorite sauce. The noodles absorb the flavor of your sauce but the texture of the noodle is weird. Jenny had bought a few packages of Konjac noodles and she did not like them so I guess I will continue to use them until they are gone. I probably will not be buying this product because the texture is too weird.
